I am constantly amazed at how good slow reflection is for us. 

Stepping away from both screens and checking things off boxes is wildly refreshing. 

It can be hard, at first, if we aren’t used to sitting with our thoughts. 

And sometimes journaling is a good way to let those thoughts out and process them. 

But being still is important. Reflecting on our own thoughts, and not just trending audios or the show we are binge-watching, helps us feel grounded and even more prepared. 

But slow reflection looks different for each of us. For some, it is an unplugged walk, or journaling with words or doodles, or going for a drive with nothing playing in the speakers. 

The point is to step away from screens, step away from the infinite to-do list, and be with ourselves.
